National Commemoration of the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme: The Path of the Remembered

People are invited to make a “memory square” dedicated to those affected by the Battle of the Somme a century ago.

The first 5000 memory squares uploaded will be be printed onto ceramic tiles and laid in a temporary Path of Remembered at Heaton Park, venue of the National Commemoration of the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme on 1st and 2nd July, 2016. Squares can be dedicated to individuals or groups, and must be uploaded by 17th June.
