As the way we socialise changes, we are increasingly choosing great coffee, food and conversation, while taking a greater interest in the people, ethics, skills, flavours and heritage behind what we consume.

Macclesfield is fast becoming the North West’s go-to destination for independent, high-quality food and drink, and we want to celebrate what makes our town special.

Macclesfield Coffee Festival is the UK’s first town-centre roaming coffee festival, bringing together independent cafés, baristas, bakers, chefs and makers and encouraging visitors to explore, taste, discover and connect.

Rather than one festival venue, the whole town becomes the festival — inviting you to spend the day exploring, discovering hidden gems on your doorstep and perhaps finding your new favourite spot for a brew and a boogie.
