The Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is now located inside Macclesfield Library. The VIC is a fantastic source of ideas for things to do in the town, and also sells a range of unique to Macclesfield gifts from local makers.
Macclesfield Visitor Information Centre is now located within Macclesfield Library. They have a good selection of informative leaflets detailing walks, attractions, theatre, music and events in Macclesfield, along with the wider Cheshire area and the Peak District National Park. They also sell many locally crafted gifts and cards. For a small charge you can purchase a leaflet enabling you to experience a self-guided tour marking Ian Curtis of Joy Division’s time in Macclesfield.
