Christ Church

Under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust but no longer in use as a church, Christ Church Macc is being brought back to life by local group, The Roe-naissance Project. Not wanting to see such a historically significant building fall into disrepair, it has been reimagined as a unique events venue and community space, perfectly placed in the heart of Macclesfield.

As the space evolves, it plays host to bigger and better events, from live music festivals and comedy nights, to craft fairs and heritage days. It is constantly being improved using donations raised through fun (and often free!) events that are put on with help from volunteers, the town council and brilliant local organisations; ensuring that the more our lovely locals put into the building, the more they get out of it.

Christ Church is also the venue for the marvelous Party in the Pews Festival May 2023
