Join us in Market Place on Sunday 2nd July as we come together to celebrate Armed Forces Day in Macclesfield. The Pipes and Drums of the Scots Guard Association (Manchester branch) will open the event with a performance outside the Town Hall at 12:00 followed by the Stafford Military Wives Choir at 12:30. We’ll have a range of display and education stalls set up around the town centre, The Face Painting Queen will be with us all day and be sure to stick around for 1:30pm when Silk Brass will lead a Military Parade up Mill Street towards the Town Hall for a brief service of thanks with the Mayor of Macclesfield, Cllr Chris Wilcock and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, Clare Hayward.
