The award was presented to Robert Smethurst and Macclesfield FC in recognition of their leadership, resilience and outstanding contribution to the town. Plus, the club’s recent achievements in national FA competitions have brought considerable recognition to Macclesfield and have fostered a renewed sense of civic pride.
