I’m Mick Warren representing Macclesfield East ward for both the Town Council and Cheshire East Council.
I’m 59 years old married to Gaynor a local midwife, we have two grown up children who were both schooled at Puss Bank & Tytherington High School.
I moved to Macclesfield aged 7 in 1969 living on the Ivy Farm Estate with my parents and siblings. I joined the Army in 1980 aged 18 and served with the Royal Artillery until January 1992 when I joined Cheshire Police. I retired from the police as Sergeant in 2013 and was elected as a councillor in the 2015 elections. My hobbies include golf, walking and drinking real ale.
