Cllr Sandy Livingstone

I’m Sandy Livingstone your Town Councillor for the Central Ward.

I work full time as the property director for a local housing association. My wife and four children moved from Scotland to Macclesfield which is very much our home. I love sport in particular rugby union, am a keen advocate of yoga, love the arts and a good book.

I am passionate about the environment and green space, cycling and walking, supporting the community, and promoting local business to ensure our town thrives.

As a member of the Planning Committee I want to protect our heritage, ensure the views of residents are heard, and seek to promote development that benefits the town. The Services Committee I am member of, supports the community, the arts, ensures places for children to play, and via the work of our first class town rangers improves the environment of the town.
